To qualify the IT PMO Lead – Finance will have a demonstrable, multi-organisational experience in Project Office Management as PMO Lead/Manager which must include significant exposure to finance management, have a good understanding of vendor and contract management and have a knowledge of business change.
The key deliverables are as follows:
• Take control of the capital/change multimillion £ budget and establish and operate mechanisms to track programme and project delivery against the plan.
• Conduct a review of existing capital budget financial management practice and identify improvements to reporting, data and ways of working.
• Work with the IT Portfolio Manager, Programme and Project Managers to forecast external spend such as people costs, licensing, hardware and contracts (working with rest of contract and licensing team to support sourcing process).
• Work with Contracts analysts to track capital expenditure actuals and forecasts.
The assignment has an initial end date of the 31st of March 2025.
