Cloud Transition Manager/Lead required by a not-for-profit organisation in central London with hybrid working (three days per week remote) currently undertaking several technology led change projects and programmes. This includes cloud first, which is the main objective for this newly established role within the organisation.

To qualify the Cloud Transition Manager/Lead will have the following:
· Strong knowledge of the Azure cloud platform to include knowledge of cloud migration strategies (lift and shift, re-platforming, re-architecting etc.).
· Experience with automation and DevOps tools.
· Good vendor management experience to include examples where vendors have been inherited and the relationship improved.
· Line management or team leadership experience to include examples where the performance of team members has been improved.
· Have a good understanding of Agile.
· Be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders with a variety of needs and wants.
· Can provide a clear structure and plan in what can be an ambiguous environment.
· Strong leadership, collaboration, delivery and time management competencies.
Your role will take the lead in shaping, overseeing and subsequently managing the migration of my clients’ IT infrastructure, applications and services into Azure cloud. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient transition while minimizing risks and disruptions. Alongside this the role is responsible for the ongoing management of cloud solutions to ensure optimal performance and stability, with line management of a team of experienced resources.
